Chess Sparring Session on Last Friday (5 Mar 2010)

Four chess boards were opened on last Friday (5 March 2010) at McDonalds meaning eight local chess players played. Few new players came to join the chess sparring session. GiLoCatur hopes more and more will join the fray in the future. It is a very good activity or program or social function or whatever you want to call it for "modal insan" for nation building.

Eventhough, Zharif would be having an exam in Saturday morning, he could not resist to keep playing. What a sportmanship. GiLoCatur hopes he would do well in the exam.

Akmal (left) was focus in his game against a newcomer from Gombak.

GiLoCatur (left) against Zharif to revenge the defeat during the MMU International Open in Melaka.

Two team members of 4th Steps (if not mistaken) that participated in the recent UM (TSZ) Team Chess Tournament from UiTM.

FOR TONITE'S FRIDAY NIGHT CHESS SPARRING SESSION WILL BE HELD AT A DIFFERENT VENUE THAN THE USUAL - MCDONALDS AT SECTION 13, NEAR SHAH ALAM STADIUM. FOR SHAH ALAM FOLKS, COME AND JOIN!
