KISAH LESEN B2 GiLoCatur

Kebetulan biras tumpang letak motor, dapatlah lepas rindu dan gian menunggang motor keliling taman.
Ambik lesen motor masa umur 19 tahun. Dah dekat 40 tahun pegang lesen B2.
Kat Kelang dekat pejabat TH. Tak ingat berapa jam. Belajar memandu kereta ingatlah, 17 jam. Kereta Toyota 120y.

Motor biras jenama MODENAS

Alhamdulillah, lulus lesen motor B2 ketika berusia 19 tahun. Setahun kemudian lulus lesen D pula.
Tester lesen D bilang, bagus dan smooth awak drive ya he he. Apa tidaknya, 17 jam kau practice. Belum lagi bawa kat rumah. Macam macam kereta bawak.

It is very crucial, in English. Jika menang the two last rounds, players can be among podium winners. If other wise, it will a sad moment to the players.

As a chess coach, not as a parent anymore, Hj Saleh (GiLoCatur) just follow remotely from home. Cannot be at the mssd tournaments. Furthermore, got other works and jobs to done.

Some mssd does not allow besides guru pengiring to be near the venue anymore for lots of reasons. Hj Saleh (GiLoCatur) does not argue that. It is the prerogative of the relevant parties such as PTPSC and the host school administrators.

For Coach Saleh, there are two main aspects for chess players in the mssd chess competitions. One is the technical aspect, the other one is the non-technical aspect.

The former is about chess knowledge and theory. The more a chess player know, the higher the chance to win games. Practice or sparring we call it in chess is very important. The more you practice, the better. Most mssd participants do not have this opportunity.

There is a name for this activity that Hj Saleh (GiLoCatur) asked and did for the children during their mssd heydays.

The latter is about discipline, attitude and motivation. Lack of discipline, not only in chess but in all other sports, will stop you from being an achiever. Confirm. Regarding attitude, you need to have POSITIVE one. Having a negative one is an obstacle to be a champion or a winner.

Every athlete for sure need motivation from parents, guru and coaches. There are three types of chess coach for the info of chess parent. Choose the best and most suitable to your chess playing children and you as parents.

Many have changed in Catur MSSD nowadays compared to yesteryears esp during Coach Saleh's time. But some are still the same like separate or concurrent for both Individual and Team events, different time control compared to the state and national level.

For example, chess athletes representing their schools have to play six rounds with 30+0 per player in one day. The final round played in the second day. Coach Saleh is not complaining about it. Surely, there are reasons for that.

Playing fitness and endurance are crucial and important. You have to play at least 7 rounds in a weekend rapid event. Technical knowledge only is not enough. Non-technical aspect such as Endurance shall be tested as well ofcourse.

Thank you the parent of a mssd chess championship for giving permission sharing below photo. A nice and beautiful school chess club tshirt, dont you think?

Bravo Coach Mohamed Max and the school's chess club patrons regarding the the tshirt. Surely a nostalgic moment the photo would be in future.
