Baku 2016 Chess Olympiad - Part 4 (Amazing GM Eugenio Torre)


GiLoCatur is amazed with Eugenio Torre, the Asia's first Grandmaster. Already in the mid-sixties, he is still very good in playing chess. Have played in more than twenty (20) World Chess Olympiads, his performance in the on-going Chess Olympiad in Baku, Azerbaijan is outstanding.

After Round 6, Torre has accumulated 5/6 points from four (4) wins and two (2) draws.

[Added on 29/10/2016 - Below is Torre's performance at the Baku 2016 Chess Olympiad after 11 rounds. His performance is very very outstanding. He plays all the eleven rounds. He did not lose a single game. With 9 wins and 2 draws, he accumulated 10/11 points. He won the Bronze Medal for Board 3 with TPR 2836.]
