GiLoCatur checked the chess-results.com and knew who become champions while on board of a ferry from Pulau Pangkor jetty to Lumut. Yes, you read it right. GiLoCatur went to Pulau Pangkor for a short trip. That's why, GiLoCatur could not write about the NAG updates.
So, below are the champions for all the categories of the NAG 2011.
U8 Boys - Tan Jun Yin (Penang) 7/8 points
U8 Girls - Goh Ji Yie (Penang) - 8/8 points
U10 Boys - Teh De Juan (Penang) 7.5/8 points
U10 Girls - Teh De Zen (Penang) 8/8 points
U12 Boys - Ooi Zhi Yang (Penang) 7/8 points
U12 Girls - WFM Nur Najiha Azman (Selangor) 7/8 points
U14 Boys - Roshan Ajeet Singh (Selangor) 6.5/8 points
U14 Girls - NWM Tan Li Ting (KL) 7/8 points

U18 Boys - Muhd Nabil Azman Hisham (Selangor) 7/8 points
U18 Girls - Latifah Kaiyisah Mohd Latib (KL) 5.5/7 points
How is the medal tally by state?
Only three states - Penang, Selangor and KL had won a golden medal in the NAG.Penang is so dominant in Under 8 and Under 10 categories. It won U8 and U10 for both sections - boys and girls. Penang won in total five Gold medals, followed by KL with 4 Gold medals and Selangor with three Gold medals. ONLY three GiLoCatur's predictions are correct. They are U8 Girls and both U12 age groups.
Syabas and Tahniah to all NAG winners.
