- believes that chess is a very good activity for school children
- understands how FIDE-rating is very important to local chess players
- very supportive and committed to chess e.g. brought his son to play at international tournament in Brunei few years back eventhough the fee is US 200
- believes that Malaysian youngsters should be exposed to FIDE-rated and international chess tournaments
- hopes that more tournaments organized by SCA (Sarawak Chess Association) in future
