Johore chess festival 2009 incorporating :

 

1.   Bandaraya Chessmaster Johor Open Team championship on Saturday, 18th April  2009

 

2.  13TH Bandaraya Chessmaster Johore open championship (Individual) Sunday, 19th April

      2009  

 

The champion  will be receiving RM3000.00 and the champion for the team will be receiving RM2000.00

1) Bandaraya Chessmaster Johore OpenTeam Championship 2009

 

Organiser : The tournament is organized by the Johore Chess Academy, MBJB and the

                     JB Chess Association

Venue       : JB Indoor Stadium, Johor Bahru ( Stadium Bandaraya Johor Bahru )

Date & Time : Saturday, 18th April 2009 From 9.00 am to 6.00pm. Participants are to 

                     report by 8.30 am

Time Control : Swiss System of 7 rounds with 25 minutes per player to complete the 

                     game

 

Entry Fee  :   RM 100.00 per team

Closing Date : Shall not be later than 16th April 2009

Prizes :   

• Champion : RM2000.00
  
• Second     : RM1500.00
  
• Third       : RM1000.00
  

Late entries and entries without payment will not be accepted. Entry fees are not refundable. In the event of any disputes ( outside the Law Of Chess), the organizer's decision shall be final and no further correspondences shall be entertained

 

Additional Prizes :

• Best Government Department : RM200.00
  
• Best University/College           : RM200.00
  
• Best Bank/Financial Institution : RM200.00
