The Percentage Analysis on PRN Selangor 2023 Results

Yesterday GiLoCatur could not follow the FIDE World Cup 2023 closely.

Surely the reason is to focus on the PRN 2023 results especially on the Selangor's 56 seats. What is it for the results for GiLoCatur?

Don't know! Maybe due to having more time at the moment, the PRN 2023 particularly on the Selangor state becomes important and critical for GiLoCatur.

Most probably, due to the fact that GiLoCatur has become more mature in age and experience, analyzing the election based on data and well-researched info is a way of giving back to the society. Actually GiLoCatur loves doing data analysis. GiLoCatur had done it for work for many years.

GiLoCatur dreams that the Malaysian society is into data driven in making critical decision like the election. GiLoCatur hopes that the Malaysian citizens are not influenced based on perception and dirty political campaigns.

Let's us use our smart minds and critical thinking.

By the way, the PRN2023 is over. The results had already been known by all.

The number of voters turn out is basically low, around 70%, compared to the last 14th GE2018 which was more than 80%.

GiLoCatur had calculated the percentage for each seat of the Selangor state election based on SPR data. The average for the state is 71.46% (2,677,517 out of total 3,747,057 voters).

Only three Selangor state seats had more than 78% voters turn out. They are N42 Meru, N43 Sementa and N51 Sijangkang where PN won two of them.

Which Selangor state seat had the lowest voters turn out? The answer is N34 Bukit Gasing seat, with just 60.61%. Only 32,872 out of 54,238 registered voters went out to the polling venues.

N32 Seri Setia seat results

For info from GiLoCatur's data analysis, the voters turn out percentage for N12 Jeram seat is 76.45% while for N32 Seri Setia seat is 69%.

The N32 seat winner secured 58.37% out of the voters turned out. Meanwhile the N12 seat winner secured 59.62%.

N12 Jeram seat results

Now come the time for the winning PRN14 candidates to work and serve his or her DUN seat.

Now come the time for the post-mortem for every political party about the results especially for those parties that require "muhasabah diri"!
